On sunday passed what I think was a Jack Snipe (may have been a Woodcock) was wandering about foraging in the meltwater from the snow. Quite comical and amazing at blending in. Whenever it stopped wandering about it completely disappeared into the mulch.

Today some Long Tailed Tits arrived. They really undulate through the air when flying. This extended deep freeze is really filling my garden with differentbirds.
